Reflection on 2017 31 Dec

Can't believe tomorrow will be 2018!!
I've had a fun and successful 2017!

Riding wise, West and I have had a busy year! We had good results at the Winter Regionals, won a National Title (that still seems like a dream!) and had promising results at PSG level at premier leagues. We’ve qualified for this years Winter Regionals at Advanced Medium Gold and PSG Gold and the Winter Championships at PSG Silver. We've been training hard with my super coaches Emilie Chandler Eventing and Gareth Hughes Dressage who are constantly helping me develop my own riding and training systems.

All this is knowledge and continuous learning is filtering down to my clients. I've had great fun teaching freelance and at clinics! Seeing all of my clients confidence growing and hard work paying off with some amazing results is something I feel privileged to be apart of.

2017 also saw the start of my final year at university 🎓 its half exciting and half terrifying that after May I will no longer be a student!

A big thank you has to go out to everyone behind the scenes . All the staff at Oakham Veterinary Hospital Stud and Oakham Veterinary Hospital Equine farrier Mark Humphry, Wests physio Charlotte Huband Equine Physical Therapy, Wests dentist Mary Kate, my PT Michelle Freer, physio Andy Thomas Eventphysio and sports psychologist Dani Olding .

The biggest thank you of all must go out to my family! Who are all incredibly supportive and live through all the ups and the downs!

So looking forwards to 2018... Lots of competing and training planned and were expecting 2 foals in June! I've got a couple of resolutions I'm hoping to fulfil – being more active on my social media is one of them so hopefully ill keep you all up to date!

Here's hoping everyone has a fantastic 2018 🎉
